Kai Havertz agrees personal terms on a £200k-a-week deal to join Arsenal from Chelsea

Kai Havertz to Arsenal getting serious

Arsenal has reached an agreement on personal terms with Kai Havertz over a move to the Emirates this summer as the German looks to move to another London club.

Chelsea faces a summer of overhaul despite spending around £600m last season to bolster their squad and finishing outside the top half of the Premier League table.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues are expected to make some ruthless changes to their squad and it involves the sale of several top players.

Havertz has agreed to move to Arsenal, who are set to spend more in this transfer window as they also eye a move for Declan Rice of West Ham.

The Sun reveals Mikel Arteta’s men have reached an agreement over personal terms with the former Bayer Leverkusen star and will now look to find an agreement on a transfer fee with Chelsea.

The transfer means Havertz may not have to change houses as Chelsea and Arsenal stay in the same city of London, with the Gunners on the north and the Blues on the western part of the town.

Arsenal may have to complete the signing for Rice before Havertz, but by agreeing on personal terms, he has given them an assurance that he will join them, even though Real Madrid also wants his signature.
