“Money doesn’t matter to me now” Son Heung-min REJECTS a move to Saudi Arabia to stay at Tottenham

Tottenham star Son Heung-min has become the latest player to reject a move to Saudi Arabia after he was approached by a club in the Middle Eastern country to join them.

Saudi Pro League clubs are poaching the best talents from Europe, and several big names have fallen into the temptation of earning a lot of money there.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the door for the likes of Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante to move away from Europe to the Pro League, and Son was set to earn a huge salary in the competition.

However, the South Korean does not think the time is right for him to move away from Europe and insists he is in love with playing for Tottenham, so money does not mean anything to him at the moment.

Fabrizio Romano quotes him saying: “I have many things to do in PL. Money doesn’t matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favorite league is important. I want to play more for Tottenham”.

This will hand the Premier League side a huge boost as they also face the prospect of selling Harry Kane in this transfer window if the England international does not pen a new contract.
