PSG to battle with Bayern Munich for COMMITTED Harry Kane signature

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to enter the race for the signature of Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Kane’s future is subject to intense speculation as it has emerged that Bayern Munich have sent two huge bids to sign him.

However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sell the player although he has just one year left on his contract. But Bayern believe the 30-year-old wants to join them and are working hard to secure his signature.

The Bavarian’s chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen met with Levy on Thursday last week to discuss their offer.

However, according to latest reports, Bayern are set to be rivalled in the race for Kane by PSG, who are preparing to make a bid for the 30-year-old.

With £70m already on the table from Bayern, PSG’s presence in the race could hike the price for the striker. But Bayern have insisted that they will not be pushed to bid above their valuation, and they will draw the line at a certain point and consider returning in January if Kane commits to joining them.

Meanwhile, Tottenham coach Ange Posteclogue has stated that Kane is committed to the Spurs project.

Speaking to reporters in Perth, Postecoglou said, “I had a good chat with Harry. It was nothing earth-shattering as people are seeking. Just a good chat. I introduced myself, and we spoke mainly about the club, where it’s at and where he thinks he can improve.

“It’s not a specific vision for one person, it’s about the group, and we’re perfectly aligned on that – we want to see a successful team this year. There are a lot of people who know Harry better than me, but he’s not going to get phased by anything. He’s here, and while he’s here, he’s totally committed to what we’re doing, and that’s the way I’ve seen things.”
