Liverpool urged to accept £60m for Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz could leave Liverpool

Liverpool struggled on the field last season and are now struggling to keep hold of their best players as Saudi Arabian clubs target their stars from different directions.

The Reds are set to lose Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to clubs from the Middle Eastern country, and Luis Diaz is also the subject of interest from them in this transfer window.

The attacker struggled with his fitness last season, but he is a player capable of making a huge difference in any game if he is fit and ready to go. Liverpool will hardly consider offers for some players, and one of them is Diaz.

However, every player has a price, and the transfer window is still open for almost two months, which is enough time for things to change at Anfield.

Former striker Frank McAvennie has now urged them to accept a big-money move for the attacker if they receive one because they can replace him with a better player.

He tells Football Insider:

“I like Diaz as a player and he looked good the other night. I think he could have a good say in what is happening at Liverpool this year.

“If they can get £60m for him I would take it because I think Jurgen can find a better player for that.

“I think he has got skill but he was running like a headless chicken sometimes last year. I do not think Jurgen has got time for that.

“I think he would like it over there, there would be no pressure and he would be able to show boat a little bit. Whether they keep him or not, I think he would want to go.“
