Chelsea REJECTED! Ajax star set for £35m West Ham move despite strong interest from the Blues

Chelsea Muhamed Kudus

Not often do we see Chelsea snubbed these days, with the Stamford Bridge side boasting a pulling power this summer not seen in recent times.

Despite selling at least 12 first-team stars, the Blues have signed over a dozen players this summer, ranging from established first-teamers to youngsters, who could be sent on loan this season to continue their development.

Their two biggest summer signings are Mosies Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who they snatched from the clutches of Liverpool. Even Christopher Nkunku, who arrived earlier in the summer, could have gone elsewhere but needed up at Stamford Bridge.

So, little wonder Chelsea fans brag about their club’s history and their new-found pulling power under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, not everyone is enthused by Chelsea and their pulling power, never mind riches and lengthy contracts. Not Michael Olise, and not Ajax star Mohammed Kudus, who is reportedly set to join fellow Premier League side West Ham.

The Ghana international was wanted by Chelsea &and Brighton but has agreed to join West Ham in a €41m plus €3m deal from Ajax.

According to reports by the Athletic via Goal, the 23-year-old is set to pen a five-year deal with the Hammers.

Having fended off interest from both Chelsea and Brighton this summer to land the promising midfielder, Kudus could line up alongside fellow summer arrival James Ward-Prowse in the Hammers midfield. However, he can also play on the wing.

Having beaten Chelsea 3-1 on Sunday with ten men, Moyes’ side coincidentally travel to Brighton on Saturday afternoon in their next Premier League outing.
