Jürgen Klopp values the Hungarian highly and sees him as perfect for his system. Szoboszlai was one of the standout players in the Bundesliga last season, as RB Leipzig finished third in the table behind Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Last season, he scored ten goals in 48 appearances in all competitions, including aiding them to the German Cup.
Although he is still only 22, the midfielder is very experienced and currently captains the Hungarian national team.
Szoboszlai will become their second summer signing after they priced Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton in a £35m deal.
He will travel to Liverpool in the coming days to complete this medical ahead of his official unveiling.
