Al-Nassr is lining up an AMBITIOUS SWOOP for David de Gea after his Man United contract expired

David de Gea is the latest big name to be targeted by clubs in Saudi Arabia, with the Spanish international wanted by Cristiano Ronaldo’s side Al-Nassr.

De Gea became a free agent this week after his Manchester United contract expired on July 1. Although the Red Devils could re-sign him, there is significant belief that the Spanish goalkeeper’s career will continue elsewhere.

According to The Sun, Al-Nassr is considering making an offer to tempt the 32-year-old to the club – where he would be reuniting with former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The report claims that de Gea could pocket £250,000 a week if he agrees to take up a role between the sticks at Al-Nassr.

Although that amount is slightly less than the amount he was earning before at United, it is still better than the reduced offer the Red Devils gave him before recently making a U-turn.

De Gea made 545 appearances for Man United since joining the Old Trafford side from Atletico Madrid for £18.9m in 2011, winning the Premier League title in the 2012-13 season.
