Liverpool BRACED for £40m bid for Fabinho

Liverpool are reportedly braced to receive a £40 million bid for Fabinho from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

The Saudi Arabian club want to sign the Brazilian midfielder this summer and are preparing a generous offer for the midfielder, who is thought to be keen on the move.

According to several Liverpool sources, negotiations between Fabinho and Al Ittihad are taking place.

Although nothing is done yet, and no official bid has been sent to the Anfield side at this stage, it is thought that things will develop quickly.

Al-Ittihad have already signed N’Golo Kante, Jota and Karim Benzema this summer. Still, Fabinho is considered a top priority for Nuno Espirito Santo, who wants to strengthen his squad further as he prepares to defend their SPL crown next season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will hasten their pursuit of Romeo Lavia if they sell Fabinho this summer.

The Reds have already signed two midfielders, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister. But selling Fabinho will leave them short in midfield. So a deal for a new defensive midfielder will become a priority if the Brazilian leaves.
