Manchester United is prepared to make an improved £50 MILLION offer for Mason Mount, but Chelsea wants more

Mason Mount could leave Chelsea to Manchester United

Manchester United is pushing on with their efforts to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea this summer after the midfielder agreed to join them.

Mount has not signed a new Chelsea contract, and the Blues do not want to lose him for anything, which is why they have continued to push to keep him.

But in recent weeks, it has become clear that Mount wants to leave, and his preferred destination is Manchester United, despite interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Red Devils are more than happy to add him to their squad, but the Blues rejected their initial offer for his signature and they are prepared to return with an improved bid.

A report in the Daily Mail reveals the Red Devils are now prepared to pay up to £50 million for the England star, who has just a season left on his current deal at the club.

Yet, the report claims it would not be enough for Chelsea to sell him, with the Blues hoping to receive £70 million when he eventually leaves them at the end of this transfer window.

However, with just a season left on his current contract, it is hard to see any suitor who will pay that much for Mount, and Chelsea will not want to lose him as a free agent in the next summer transfer window.
