Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed they will make new signings before the transfer window closes as the Reds prepare to lose Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi Arabian clubs.

Liverpool had improved their squad with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, with their fans delighted about both signings as the team needed to rebuild its midfield.

However, the Reds have also been stunned by Fabinho agreeing to move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, while Henderson looks set to move to Al Ettifaq, where he would work under Steven Gerrard.

These two men have been important Liverpool players over the last few seasons, and their decision to leave has left the Reds weakened, which could derail their season.

With less than a month left before the new term starts, Liverpool fans are eager to know if their team will add new men to their group to help them win trophies.

Klopps expects that to happen and answered in the affirmative. He said via Daily Mail:

‘With all the things you have to do left and right, my main focus and energy has to go into the training sessions then that’s what I do. Then either side of the sessions, I can try to help with other stuff.

‘Still three-and-a-half weeks until the first game of the season. A few things have to happen before then, definitely, transfer market-wise as well.

‘That is clear now. And it will happen. New players have to come in. We will have a good team.’
