Tottenham have been linked with Fiorentina striker Arthur Cabral as a possible replacement for Bayern Munich target Harry Kane.
Kane’s future remains up in the air as he refuses to sign a new deal this summer that will keep him at North London beyond next June when his current deal will expire.
While he remains open to all options, the England international is willing to accept a move away from Tottenham this summer if it benefits the club. Bayern Munich is leading the race for his signature, with the Bavarians offering £70m for his services.
Although Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has insisted he doesn’t want to sell the striker, he could be forced to sell if the offer becomes too juicy for him.
According to GOAL, although the new manager plans to use Kane this season, the club is already exploring alternatives should the striker leave. Per the report, the Premier League club have shown interest in signing Cabral from Fiorentina.
The 25-year-old has been on Tottenham’s radar for quite some time and has impressed with his mobility and aerial prowess. Since his move from Basel to Fiorentina, the Brazilian has scored 19 goals in 64 appearances across all competitions for La Viola.
